Kind Words from the Bride | Winston-Salem, North Carolina Wedding Planner

Thank you sweet Nicole for your kind words!:

When I set out to plan my wedding, I bought a cute book full of checklists and a binder, and I thought I was good to go. Well, needless to say, I was so very wrong. I had so many different ideas, but I didn’t know how to put them into effect. My mom is actually the one who suggested a planner, and although I believe the idea came from one too many viewings of Father of the Bride, I agreed. I came across Leigh’s website, and I remember reading something about pimento cheese and smiling. After my mom and I met with Leigh for the first time, we both knew she was an investment worth making. We immediately felt like we could breath again and that we both might still love each other if we hired someone to mediate. Leigh took all my ideas and brought them to life. She introduced us to vendors that made our wedding day unforgettable, and each person we met throughout our journey with Leigh was such a pleasure to work with. When the day finally arrived and I walked into the reception, I was awed by everything I saw. It was more beautiful than I ever imagined it would be, and it was perfect. All of our family and friends kept telling Matt and I how everything looked so “us”. That was all Leigh. She got to know Matt and I and brought our love for each other and our family and friends alive in our day. I look back on the day now, a couple of weeks later, and I know we couldn’t have done it without Leigh. Oh, and there was pimento cheese there too…because really, what would a southern wedding be like without it?

Today rocks.  This beauty of a wedding was featured on The Lovely Find.

I absolutely loved working with Lindsey and her mom throughout the planning process.  And Lindsey and Chris’s wedding was definitely a day to remember.  It rained cats and dogs all.day.long then for some reason, ten minutes before the ceremony was set to take place indoors (our well thought out back up plan of course!), the sky turned blue and the sun peaked out a bit.  Lindsey and Chris wanted to get married outside at Adaumont Farm so badly so we took our opportunity and quickly moved all the guests down to the beautiful ceremony site.  Their guests were more than happy to oblige their dear friends by standing and snuggling on the chilly September day.  The rest of the event went off without a hitch and Holly and the rest of the LPW team did a great job coordinating the day.  Thanks to Autumn Song Photography for sharing their beautiful images!

I am SO excited to share this sweet video with y’all! Natosha and Justin were some of my favorite clients last year and I still swoon for their wedding.  It was full of beautiful rustic glam details and lots of sweet dance moves.  Make sure to leave N+J and Twenty-One Films some love!
