You remember these two from yesterday and their sweet ceremony. I am so excited to share their rockin’ reception today.  Guests were wowed the moment they walked into the Greensboro Country Club with beautiful over the top holiday decor.  It was the perfect backdrop to our reception design.  And the party was so upbeat and fun.. everyone danced until the last note!  It was one to remember for sure.  Enjoy, friends!

Kippy and Mike tied the knot at Phillips Chapel here in Greensboro then danced the night away at the Greensboro Country Club.   I absolutely loved planning with Kippy!  She has such great taste and is a master chef (follow her awesome blog here).  Mike kept the LPW gals and I laughing all day with his great sense of humor.  Today I’m sharing the first half of their day from primping and pictures at the church all the way to I do.  Stay tuned for their reception tomorrow.  Enjoy!

I am so excited to share part 2 of Joy and Hudson’s wedding day.  If you missed part one, you can check it out here.  This reception still has my heart.  It was the perfect balance of classic elegance, killer dance music (and moves!), and make-you-go-back-for-seconds food.  My team and I had so much fun working with Joy, Hudson, their families, and guests.  Make sure you leave J+H some love!

Joy loves the song “Oh Happy Day” and it was her wedding dream to have a gospel choir greet guests at the reception.  I was able to source some robes and the band was thrilled to oblige.  The look on Joy’s face when she saw them standing out front was the best part of my day!!!

That chandelier was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.  It was such an amazing wow factor when you entered the rotunda.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Jones danced their first dance as man and wife to “Me & Mrs. Jones.”  How fitting!!

We handed out fun props for dancing in waves all night–boas, hats, sunglasses, and, the biggest hit, light up tambourines!

See part two here. After the Masters themed brunch, Joy and her house party spent the morning primping and prepping at Joy’s mothers home.

Joy’s bouquets were some of my all time favorites.  Hello giant gorgeous, peonies! Where have you been all my life?

Hudson and his fellas hung out at the brunch all morning (after Joy left of course!) before meeting up for photos at Proximity.

This is one of my favorite wedding photos EVER.  I love how you can see the excitement on their faces moments after they walked down the aisle as man and wife.
