This chilly weather has me dreaming of warm evenings, beautiful blooms, and all of the vibrant colors of Spring. Collaborating with Just Priceless and Alexa on this beautiful editorial was so much fun! I love to stretch my creative legs and do something a little outside the box and over the top. As an event designer, when a client truly trusts your vision and tells you to run with it? That is where the magic happens. Jamie completely trusted me to pull together some non-holiday colors (navy, mustard, and fern) marry that with a Williamsburg Christmas look (fruits, evergreens, texture) with a side of handmade touches (these two are old souls and collectors). Y’all know I am a sandal wearing, sun bathing, beach going summer girl. But I absolutely love the holiday season. Christmas is my favorite time of year (probably because my house looks like Christmas Vacation by the time I am done decorating it) and there is nothing I adore more than a December wedding. Kippy and Mike had one of the most elegant, classic weddings and was one for the books. I actually squealed when I saw the country club all lit up with their amazing decor. Also, y’all know I am a sucker for a cathedral length veil and I absolutely love this shot of Kippy and her uncle before the walk into the church.
