One of my favorite areas to design is always the bar. There are so many fun ways to show your personality and EVERYONE notices these details because, lets face it, everyone is at the bar From customized stir sticks to koozies to cocktail napkins, make sure not too overlook these details for your big day. I have shared some of my favorites from past LPW weddings so make sure to pin your favorites!

These custom beer labels and caps were the perfect little touch to Stephanie + Nathan’s Wedding at Proximity Hotel last Spring. You can easily pre-print stickers with you wedding logo and give to your caterer in advance. They can showcase these labels on wine and beer bottles.

No bar is complete without signage. Even the most non-DIY bride can handle printing up a menu in a pretty font, printing and inserting in an 8 x 10 frame. You can take it a step further and use a chalkboard, include your signature drinks, and even some fun sayings (like “No great party started with a salad…“).

Everyone loves fun glassware for their libations. Mason jars (or its country cousin, the redneck wine glass) are always a hit. Other options? Beautiful champagne coups (instead of flutes), martini glasses, colorful highballs, mint julep cups, or custom plasticware.

Cocktail napkins are another easy way to carry your theme throughout your event. You can customize with a graphic, your monogram, your date, or even a fun saying or song lyric. Make sure to order enough for cocktails and any hors dourves at cocktail hour.

Talk about a wow factor! An ice sculpture (which are more reasonably priced than you think) can really jazz up a bar display. I also love them on an appropriate food station like a raw seafood bar.

Koozies are simply a classic wedding staple. I have more than I can count and I LOVE them. They also double as a fantastic favor. If you do not want your beer poured into glassware (I am a huge advocate for this), then a koozie is a great option. It covers those ugly beer labels so your pictures look more uniform and your guests have a fun take away from your big day!

Lastly, stir sticks and paper straws and perfect additions to your bar if you are serving liquor. You could also place the straws at your other beverage stations so your non-alcoholic drink drinks can enjoy the fun too!
