It’s been a month since the official LPW website and blog relaunch. Thank you, thank you, thank you times a million to everyone who called, emailed, tweeted, and visited me in the past month with lovely things to say about the relaunch. It really means the world to me! So, as a big ol’ thank you, I have an amazing giveaway inspired by my favorite things! My favorites:
1. “You’re the Butter on My Biscuit and Other Country Sayin’s ’bout Love, Marriage, and Heartache” by Allan Zullo and Gene Cheek. I came across this book a long time ago and have kept a copy on my desk ever since. It makes me laugh, is a great resource when searching for the perfect Southernism, and makes a wonderful gift. In fact, each one of my sweet 2013 brides gets a copy!
2. Southern Weddings Magazine V5. Has there ever been a more beautiful, thoughtful, inspirational wedding magazine? I think not. This beauty also has a permanent home on my desk and is lovingly referred to as the “wedding bible” by my brides and I.
3. NC Home Vinyl Sticker by Mischief Makers. I just love living in North Carolina and can’t imagine ever living anywhere else. The “NC Home” graphic is popping up all over Greensboro (and beyond) thanks to the designers, Mischief Makers. I get so many compliments on the Home tshirt I have! Thankfully my favorite downtown Greensboro store, Design Archives, sells lots of their items. This sticker would be perfect to jazz up your laptop or back windshield.
4. Scented soaps (lavender, lemongrass, ginger, and charcoal) from Ease Bath & Body. I am obsessed with these organic soaps. I have really sensitive skin and these are perfect for me. I keep them in my guest bathroom and everyone always compliments how great they smell. Suzanne, the owner, is also a doll to work with and I can’t wait have some brides use them in welcome bags this year!
5. Charming Charlie Cowboy Boot Printed Scarf. It’s no secret that I love my cowboy boots. They are the most comfortable shoes I own and remind me of my dad. I saw this scarf at my favorite accessories store, Charming Charlie, I knew it would be perfect for this giveaway! It’s thin, sheer, and can be worn year round.
