You may remember these two love birds from their beautiful Adaumont Farm wedding in December (see all the gorgeousness here, here, and here). Today is an extra special treat because I get to share not one but TWO films from Carol Anne and Brad’s wedding day. Neil of Iron Kite Films posted both the highlight film and their full length film because they are just that awesome! This was one of my all time favorite weddings and I may or may not have watched the films three times. Maybe. Enjoy!!

I’ve saved the best for last.. Carol Anne + Brad’s gorgeous holiday reception! This will go down as one of my favorites for so many reasons. I loved every little detail from the heirloom bridal portrait display to the mistletoe kissing ball to the custom gingerbread bride and groom cookies to the twinkling lights. But my favorite details were the one’s that integrated Carol Anne and Brad’s story of how they met also known as “Operation Love Lamp.” Yes, they met because of a lamp and it’s the most fabulously romantic story I’ve ever heard. So, we incorporated the lamp into their head table centerpieces, their cake topper (Sami, you’re a genius!), and even displayed the story in the foyer. Painted Plate created an amazing menu so guests could mingle, eat, and dance all night long. It was such a fun evening and I’m still slightly depressed that it’s over. (Carol Anne, can we start planning your vow renewal!?) So, cheer me up and leave them some love y’all!!

Today I’m sharing part two of Carol Anna + Brad’s December wedding. Their ceremony was so touching and I can not get enough of their bride and groom portraits from Pasha Belman. Seriously, how amazing is that last shot? One of my favorite details from the church was Carol Anne’s mother’s dress that we displayed in the narthex. Leave them some love y’all and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for a peak at the party!!

I have such a love for this wedding for so many reasons. Carol Anne and her mom are both so special to me and have become dear friends throughout the planning process. This was also wedding number 50 under the Leigh Pearce Weddings brand. Each and every image is gorgeous so of course I couldn’t narrow them down to just one post. That tends to happen when Pasha Belman is the photographer. So enjoy part 1 of Carol Anne and Brad’s day! The fellas spent the morning at Adaumont skeet shooting while the ladies primped at home. Later in the day everyone met at the church for some formal photos as well as a father/daughter first look. Leave them some love y’all and stay tuned for more tomorrow!!

Mary Anna and Weston’s Adaumont Farm county fair wedding was definitely one of my favorites from 2012. I had so much fun dreaming up details and creating all the design with Mary Anna and her mom, Joy. Every last detail was just *so* Mary Anna and Weston from the ferris wheel cupcake stand turned centerpiece to the shot gun shell boutonniere to the bourbon barrel guest book. I could talk for days on the meaningful moments and playful details from the day, but the icing on the cake was the picture perfect sunset that took place as the ceremony was concluding. So sit back, grab some ‘naner pudding and dive into this gorgeous day. Many thanks to my dear friend, Anna Paschal Photography, for capturing the details and a few ceremony moments for me.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably caught a glimpse of all the awesomeness I posted from the Victory Junction Christmas Gala in December. I had so much fun designing this “Visions of Sugarplums” event and collaborating with the talented ladies at The Sugar Shack. Some of my favorite elements that I created were the giant paper lantern turned bubble gum balls hung from the ceiling, the white trees with every candy ornament in a 20 mile radius of Greensboro, the giant evergreen tree behind Santa (they let me operate a scissor lift!), and the fun, brightly colored linens and chair sashes.
The gala is an annual holiday event for campers, their families, friends of the camp, and sponsors to mingle, eat, participate in an auction, and enjoy a live performance. The auction featured everything from amazing vacations to autographed guitars (I had my eye on the Dierks Bentley one), and lots of NASCAR gear. The King even joined us for the party and donated one of his famous hats for the auction. Another highlight was the showstopping custom tree house created by Wolfe Home. It even had a water feature! The main event of course was one of my favorite country artists, Kellie Pickler. She was kind enough to perform for everyone and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. She was so humble, thoughtful, and downright hilarious. She signed countless autographs in between songs (most entertaining was someone’s cell phone which she read text messages from) and even got up to go greet the soldiers from Toys for Tots before singing one of her latest hits. I’m so glad I was there to see her perform and mighty proud that she’s a North Carolina girl!
So, without further ado, grab a cup of eggnog and a peppermint candy cane and enjoy these gorgeous images from Anna Paschal Photography!
How dreamy are those luminaries? I will say, assembling and placing all 500 of those luminaries was such a huge project but totally worth it when the driveway lit up at night. Lots of hugs and margaritas where dispersed to my mom and my dear friend, London, for helping me with set up. My mom is an expert tree decorator (seriously, the woman is Martha Stewart) and London can wrap even the most odd shaped boxes and make them beautiful presents. High fives to my wonderful assistant coordinator, Melody, for all of her hard work in the planning and concept stages. She is so talented and creative!
