Details and design make my world go round. And believe me, this year my brides and I have dreamed up some beauties. This is always one of my absolute favorite posts to put together! I love reminiscing about all of the beautiful design elements, gowns, tablescapes, and more. I would love to hear what YOUR favorite detail was from our year!
First up, Ashley’s beautiful wedding fashion. These blush pink Badgley Mischka’s paired perfectly with her swiss dot layered dress and beaded belt. Swoon city.
One of the things I was most excited about this year was my partnership with my dear friend Kasey of Confetti Grey. She and I have collaborated on so many beautiful paper details this year and this beauty from Teresa and Drew’s May wedding was definitely one of my favorites.
I have no other words for these seriously stunning blooms other than Amy Lynne Originals is simply genius. She took mine and Erin‘s ideas and completely transformed them into the colorful beauty you see below. Favorite bouquet AND halo of all time. Yup, I said it.
I cannot wait to show you the reset of the colorful summer soiree. Jessica and Matthew’s wedding ceremony was full of color and fun details like these paper fans and these custom tassels. Coming to a wedding blog near you verrrrry soon!
Another beauty of a wedding that I have not had a chance to share yet! Christa and Michael had the most fun carnival themed cocktail hour. Painted Plate and I created a spiked sno cone station and the guests absolutely LOVED it.
This wedding will forever have my heart. I am dyyyyyyying to share more details from Katherine and Nathan’s wedding but for now… a sneak peek of this beautiful trio of cakes from the amazing Maxie B’s will just have to do.
This is a double duty detail. I was completely head over heels for the paper details for Carolyn and Mike by Confetti Grey (she took French rustic romance and gave me this. Perfection.) as well as the actual drink concoctions dreamed up by 1618 Concepts. I had a teeny tiny sip of the Bacon Manhattan and holy smokes. I could have drank every drop.
One final sneak peek of one of my favorite weddings ever. We blended wooden farm tables, silky linens, gold accents, and chalkboards for the perfect balance of rustic, organic, and elegance.
