Today, my friend, Scott, catering sales director at the prestigious Greensboro Country Club, is sharing his thoughts on the perks of a wedding planner. Scott is the epitome of professional and goes above and beyond for his guests at the club. I am always so excited to work with him to create a magical and top notch event!

I have to say, working with a professional wedding planner is an essential piece of the pie. A planner is the nucleus of the event and keeps all sides on the same page. As a salesperson I see mostly the reception side of the day but with a planner I get a snap shot of the whole day. Without a doubt it prepares me for what the day will bring. I have had the privilege of working with many wedding professionals in the Triad including Leigh Pearce of Leigh Pearce Weddings, Lisa Johnson, and Grace Beason of Grace Leisure Events. These ladies are at the top of their game and WOW do they know how to say “I Do” to their bride and grooms.

Planning a wedding is a onetime deal and there is NO room for error. We as professionals only have one shot to get it right. Working with a wedding professional like Leigh Pearce gives me the peace of mind that the day will be flawless and that the “T’s” are crossed and the “I’s” are dotted. Planners not only make our weddings spectacular, but they are also there to promote my venue to future brides.

We are in the business of creating moments and in those moments, there are many steps to take from down the aisle to a sparkling farewell. Working with a true wedding professional is insurance for a bride that her day will be uniquely perfect.

Brides remember with the right team dreams do come true!
